Racing since he was 14, James Generalao, Jr has come a long way with his "Impatient" AA Fuel Altered. Originally from Kailua, Hawaii, James was racing a 1923 Supercharged T-Roadster on alcohol, with the name "Impatient". His best time was 7.43 at 180 mph. As it is with every race car driver, James felt the need for more speed so he injected his '23 T-Roadster with 15% nitro and ran a 7.12 at 183 mph. In 2000, James and his family then made the decision to move to Las Vegas to broaden their racing hobby and turn it into something more. They purchased the AA Fuel Altered, and began racing it in 2001. They had their bumps in the road and had a few things to learn about running a nitro car. Since then, the Impatient Racing Team has raced at many events across the states and accomplished many of their personal goals. The team has raced in Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Montana, Alaska, and Canada. In March of 2007 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, James set a new record for his AA Fuel Altered running a 5.94 at 228 mph. Then in September 2007, at Chuy's Fuel Altered Classics in Bakersfield, CA James took home his first Wally! 2007 was definitely a great year for James and his team. Recently, James converted his AA Fuel Altered to an alcohol burning altered, to participate in PSCA events along with his sister, driver of the 'Pixi Dust' altered. October 2010, James went to the Super Street semi-finals in the Arizona Nationals.
James and his Impatient team hope to keep it all going, and going faster!
